TARTU UUS TEATER & KOMPANII NII / RENATE KEERD "Põletatud väljade hurmaa"
By genre, Renate Keerd's new work promises to be a physical-psychedelic introspective tragedy with a comical-poetical tinge. Or vice versa. Everything depends on the perspective.
Renate Keerd is an Estonian freelance choreographer and director who has performed her works in many international festivals in Europe and Asia. Has been the laureate of Estonian dance award Philip Morris twice. In 2004 she founded contemporary dance and theatre studio Dreek and in 2012 the company of physical theatre Kompanii Nii. In her last performance "Pink Flamingos, Crazy Horses", a collaboration with Spanish director and choreographer Maria Ibarretxe, Keerd again took the part of a performer over several last years.
