NU PERFORMANCE FESTIVAL V: So Far So Good

Rather than a title "So Far So Good" is a state of affairs, plausible of both negative and positive connotations. Calling something "So Far So Good" will invariably become its title, but the connotation that it may fall apart and be a disaster remains. For instance:  
What do you call a cat with no legs? A mug? No, call it whatever you like, it won't come anyway!

So Far So Good will present artists and artworks, artists with and without artworks, performances with and without audiences, maybe even audiences without performances; in other words various constructions of performativity and performance-based productions. A high level of playfulness, invisibility or artstravaganza could well challenge the realization of the festival itself. Like the idea of the performer that exceeds her performance and disappears, the curator acts as an artist, the artist as an actor, the choreographer as a therapist, the performer as festival team, the extra as a star. So, for now, so far so good.

Krõõt Juurak (b.1981, Tallinn, Estonia, lives in Vienna) is a performer and choreographer whose work (performances, presentations, texts, workshops, exhibitions, mood shifts) has been presented in a variety of formats in venues in Europe and beyond.
