UNITED DANCERS OF ZUGA "Zuga knows the truth"
Tallinn centered creative union ZUGA gets on stage again taking along one guy from Tartu to premiere their new piece "Zuga knows the truth". The truth will be revealed through dance. Obviously they are not about to change the paradigm nor do not want to speak about the meta level.Zuga believes that creating and performing a piece is a process where they discover something new that should be shared with the spectator. For the spectators the performance is a process. It is wonderful when within this process both parties involved get surprised."Zuga knows the truth" is born within the collaboration, where democracy has no place, between Helen Reitsnik, Jarmo Karing, Kalle Tikas, Karl Saks and Tiina Mölder. Their main means of expression this time are physical and sound language.
United dancers of ZUGA is a collective that was established 11 years ago by Tiina Mölder, Kaja Kann and Jarmo Karing. Throughout the years the members have varied and many exciting works have been created. ZUGA loves process and brings it onto the stage refreshing the communication. The performances of ZUGA have been acknowledged by Philip Morris Estonia dance awards, Estonian theatre awards and the Estonian independent dance award.
