In her physical theatre/contemporary dance performance the up-and-coming Estonian choreographer Sandra Z will try to capture the dynamics of a concert of a musical masterpiece, like ... Vivaldi "The Four Seasons". After a concert you never ask what it was about or why one harmony followed another the way it did. No social or political plot, all the visual effects are strictly personal and indescribable in any other way. It's time. It's time to notice. It's time to notice others.

Sandra Z is a freelance choreographer and performer. She studied dance at Fine 5 Dance School in Tallinn and Dartington College of Arts in London. Lead vocal in Estonian death metal band Deceased Dreams and disco pop project QueeN-Naive. In 2006, she won the concourse „Best project for young choreographer" by Estonian Cultural Endowment, with project for „The Bekinning". She has participated in workshops with Thomas Lehmen, Didier Deschamps, Caroline Waters. She has worked also with Stefan Kaegi (Rimini Protokoll) as actor/singer in Cargo Sofia in Tallinn (2008). In 2009 she was chosen to be part of the LOOPING project for young emerging choreographers and in June 2009 premiered her latest work „It's Time".

Her current ambition is to enhance the dialogue between performers and critics and to update the directing techniques in both theatre and dance.
