MART KANGRO ´Out of Functions` ‘Out of Functions’ is a performance that encloses speaking, singing and movement performed by 3 performers… One can say that ´Out of Functions´ is a piece without a story…It is a piece about everything as well as nothing…but it still combines laughter, passion and tears as it is common to drama. And even as it speaks a lot and about several things that every spectator can associate to, it is genuinely trying to figure out how much must be said and how it should be said in order to be understood… Mart Kangro obtained his dance education from Tallinn Pedagogical University. He has collaborated with Mai Murdmaa, Charles Linehan, Susanne Berggren, Xavier Le Roy and Thomas Lehmen. 1996-2001 he was a member of the ballet company of the Estonian National Opera where he created a short piece “Many Things in Life Remain Unseen Anyway”. His first solo performance was premiered in 2001.
