Theorem hypekas will accomplish the final evening of the project “Dance Residences” by Theorem.

The idea of the project Dance Residences was created by by Tanzquartier Wien (Vienna); DAAD (Berlin); Centre national de la danse (Paris) and Kanuti Gildi SAAL. This project gives young and talented chorographers the opportunity for residences at its member organisations and ends with presentations in Tallinn. The invited choreographers are: Anna Godowska – who was in residency at Centre national de la danse; Alexandra Pirici – who was in residency in Tanzquartier Wien; Daria Buzovkina – who was in residency in DAAD; Triin Lilleorg and Kärt Tõnisson – who were in residency in Kanuti Gildi SAAL.

Theorem Dance Residencies project will take place thanks to European Union Culture 2000.

T-RAUM may be treated as a story about the show, which turns into a dream and the dream, which becomes a show. Following anecdotes are breaking off, or loose their basic sense (meaning), turning into new and unexpected situations. Threat and absurd are penetrating each other and become one. Intensive dance and acting are united with the music, which is not in a background but equal hero of a drama and, often in rebellious position, creating it’s own contexts and interpretations.

Research- project to find our own place in different environments.
For that we will go around city, meet people and communicate with them in some strange manner. It's interesting how people will react and what we can do with this material in a studio.
The goal is to know how much we are mistaken about our presence and effect that we think we make  in some circumstances. How our behaviour and other's behaviour are coordinated mentally.

The piece deals mainly with a certain lack of confidence in one's actions, self created impossibilities related to the process of creation. Realizing that within the artistic process you have such incredible freedom makes you then wonder what to do with it, how to make choices, how to restrain it. The solo is about where I am now in this attempt.
