Jasper Zoova (b. 1975) started with making scratch videos in the mid-nineties. Worked as a VJ (groupings ´Dream maschine´ with Max Trepee and ´Nervous cowboys´ with Kiwa). He has also made two longer anthropologic experimental films – ´Rock’n’roll kids´ (1999) and ´Trip for the smile´ (2000). In 2002 he started formatting his drawings into moving pictures. Minimalist lines reduced to the extreme simplicity and brutal 2-frame loops are characteristic to these works.
