ELVIS SÕNAJALG short films

The films have been made between 2001 and 2007. The topics derive from the author’s life problems served in a very eccentric light. The frame rate has always been 12 fps. The stories have always been animated late in the evening and finished in the morning, reviewed at sunrise with red eyes.

Elvis Sõnajalg began his first film tests with some ancient Photoshop, followed by a wish to make something absolutely mad. In the autumn of 2001 he discovered Flash by Macromedia. Earth, Wind & Fire, The Sugarhill Gang, 69 Boyz, Cypress Hill – the stories were born to the songs.

´Second floor films´ is an entirely new series of Kanuti Gildi SAAL. The aim of the series is to present works that do not fit into the cinemas. The screenings take place in the limited space of the second floor lobby of the Kanuti Gildi SAAL.
