The guest of IMPROTEST concert series this time is Xavier Charles who has gained his reputation as a clarinettist working with Jaques Di Donato and Frederic Le Junter as well as participated in various improvisational combos and new music festivals in France as well as elsewhere. His interests include within unique proportions noise aesthetics and sound-poetry and those are also the base of his current solo project Surfaces Vibrantes where vibrating loud-speakers are co joined into the noise-rock and clarinet with electro-acoustic sound usage. He has promised to bring along the best parts of his exciting suitcase that produces improvisational music. This is good news for those who like to try their hand in music and are eager to find out where it all ends.

IMPROTEST is a concert series organized hand in hand by Kanuti Gildi SAAL, MKDK and U.L.A.Jazz to present the best parts of free improvisational music. Series is supported by Cultural Endowment of Estonia and Tallinn City Council Cultural Heritage Department.
