KUMU auditoorium / Weizenbergi 34 - Valge 1 / OKSANA TITOVA & JUHAN ULFSAK ‘Roots’ While nearly the same team made their previous piece ´The Last Hairy´ then they were fighting with the issues of aesthetics and bathroom but this time they undertake to dig up their roots in the forest. ´Roots´ is a story about the various ways of revealing national and human identity. Diagnosing and treating different identities they carry out an exorcist séance that reveals the truth and drops the lies. Question remains – who is clicking the push-button?
Oksana Titova has graduated Tallinn Ballet School and Tallinn Pedagogical University. She is working as a dancer at the National Opera Estonia and as a freelance choreographer. The piece ‘The Last Hairy’ made in cooperation with Taavet Jansen has been awarded in Estonia and was selected by Aerowaves network to be presented at the Resolution! festival in The Place theatre, London.
