JARMO KARING ’3006-black. Part 2’

The piece ´3006-BLACK. Part 2 vers.3´is a part of trilogy that is in constant development. Further prospect involves presenting blue and white versions.
3006 in the title indicates the abstract desire to be in the future.

Following some ides that might help to understand what is going on on the stage:
-every movement is important. It must be noted.
-it is long-lasting motor activity that begins to transform according to the imagination of the spectator.
-pure explicit movement. Rather less than more.
-physical and with increasing pace……

You think about last summer, your loved one, childhood trauma, first sexual experience already before you leave the hall and then the count down begins and you run and run and run…
Once you’re out then you do not think anymore.

Jarmo Karing is a choreographer with his original attitude towards dance. He is one of the founding members of the united dancers of ZUGA collective. Jarmo started to create his own works already at the university. In 2001-2002 he worked with the Berlin based Rubato Dance Company participating in their piece “Duty Free”. He is running a dance studio T-Studio and LONKS dance festival in his hometown Haapsalu, Estonia.
