int.act.union / TAAVET JANSEN ‘Algorütm’

´Algorütm´ is based on the algorithms of the striped patterns of Estonian folkloric skirts. The same is implemented in sound, video, choreography, text and dramaturgy.

Taavet Jansen has graduated Tallinn Pedagogical University as a choreographer-dancer. He was a dancer at the Sasha Pepelyeyev company Kinetic Theatre in Moscow. Together with Katrin Essenson he has made several pieces under the label of the creative union S.P.A. He has collaborated with several artists and companies as a video artist, made dance films and video installations. Currently he is studying at the Theaterschool of the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Dance Unlimited programme.
