`Once I went to a shop and had five kroons with me. I bought three 1-kroon-lollipops. The salesman asked: ´How much money have you left now?´ And I answered: ´One kroon!´ The salesman said: ´No, not one kroon! Can´t you count? You have two kroons!´And then I said: ´See, i´m not good at computing.´

Epp Kubu has studied scenography at Estonian and Latvian Academy of Arts. Currently she is studying at the department of Interdisciplinary Arts Master´s programme at the Estonian Academy of Arts. She has been working as a strawberry picker, wardrobe keeper, ticket-control, warehouse worker, gallery salesperson, lawn mower, dancer, assistant, folklore collector, teacher at the cinema bus, video editor, film and theatre designer.

´Second floor films´ is an entirely new series of Kanuti Gildi SAAL. The aim of the series is to present works that do not fit into the cinemas. The screenings take place in the limited space of the second floor lobby of the Kanuti Gildi SAAL.
