Key arbour of the concert is the music and way of thinking of Salvatore Sciarrino, one of themain composers of the festival. He believes that the listener is also always the author of the composition, their imagination, associations and listening energy build up a musical space, which is different but personal for everyone. One can walk out and in there again as they wish and are capable of. Visible and invisible, audible and inaudible approach each other and can change positions.

Ensemble U: was established in 2002 by Taavi Kerikmäe and Tarmo Johannes, their first full-time concert took place at NYYD festival in 2003. From this time on U has performed at most of the contemporary music festivals in Estonia.
