LocalRadio is an art project initiated by Katrin Essenson and Raul Keller. Experimenting with radio air and widening the existing local visualizations of radio as a communication and sound scape. There will take place an improvisational broadcasting directly from the Improtest event at Kanuti Gildi SAAL. It will be led by Hello Uplan and Raul Keller. Hello Uplan has participated at the Robert Jürjendal Guitar Studio and lately has been performing with Shawn Pichbeck, main instrument – violin. Raul Keller is a sound and visual artist and he is also involved with sociosonics, environmental and experimental sounds.



It is a concert series organized by Kanuti Gildi SAAL, MKDK and U.L.A.Jazz to present the best parts of free improvisational music. The concerts of this series take place since the year 2005 once a month from January to May and from September to December. Series is supported by Tallinn City Council Cultural Heritage Department and Cultural Endowment of Estonia. Curators: Mart Soo and Taavi Kerikmäe.
