Eesti Kontsert: KÜBERSTUUDIO multimedia performance LONG TIDE
Küberstuudio was established in 2000 as a collaboration of flautist Monika Mattiesen and composer Margo Kõlar. The main idea of the ensemble is to synthesize acoustic and electro-acoustic music with other fields of art like light, video, painting, dance and film as well as to combine music with visual forms of art. Monika Mattiesen, art director of Küberstuudio has graduated Estonian Music Academy, her tutor was Jaan Õun. She has participated in IRCAM/Acanthes master class of electro-acoustic music instructed by Camilla Hoitenga and master class in Stockhausen Festival in Kürten. As a soloist and chamber musician, Mattiesen has performed in Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Poland, Sweden, Russia, USA, Colombia and Greece. Monika Mattiesen has recorded and premiered several flute pieces composed especially for her by Erkki-Sven Tüür, Tõnu Kõrvits, Mart Siimer, Mirjam Tally and Galina Grigorjeva.
